Power’s back on, and just as importantly, internet. The electricity came back on yesterday, but internet was still down. The local 4g network was also down since Wednesday (and still is!). So, we haven’t even been able to check emails since then.
Going through them it looks like mostly questions about delays. So, it looks like we’re going through one of the bad times again for delays. It had gotten better for a while before. The same advice applies that has since the coronavirus started. That it will arrive eventually. All but two packages have shown up. Remember all the shipping companies, not just the USPS, are dealing with a much higher volume of packages then usual. Put that with that anyone working there that comes in contact with someone with the coronavirus is automatically out for two weeks, and they’re all very understaffed and overworked. Everything is arriving though. We can start a missing package search if it’s been three days past the estimated delivery date, but even that seems early these days. Seeing things arrive a week or two late is nothing new at this point though. Past two weeks is when we start to worry. Most packages are due to arrive normally on time or faster but judging by the amount of emails we got about delays this is another bad time for them.
Our internet connection is still unstable. Since it came on we’ve had it go back out several times. We’re reopening now, but if there’s a delay in being sent an invoice it’s probably because the internet is temporarily out. It’s going to take a while to answer emails, but we’re working on it.
