It’s the new reality. Over the last couple weeks of weeks shipping has gotten a lot worse, and even worse over the last week. Even though we’re doing our part to get orders out on as fast as possible we’re regularly now seeing delays, as in packages being delivered 2-3 days after the estimated delivery date. That’s on top of USPS having already raised their estimated delivery dates from when the order is shipped by 2-4 days as of April 17th. Take this into account when ordering! So far, every package we’ve sent has arrived. The worst so far has been 5 or 6 days late. So, if you see your package stop moving somewhere in transit it does not mean your package is gone for good. The chances are very strong you will get it. It should be taken as a certainty that your order will arrive late at this point. If it’s been more then the 3 days after your estimated delivery date, we can start a missing package search, but honestly, I don’t know if it will do any good. To the best of my knowledge shipping has gone down hill with all the shipping companies recently because they’ve been instituting new social distancing and shift rotation policies to help keep workers safe that as a side effect are making their jobs even harder. There’s nothing we can do about it except hope the country can get back to normal soon, and even once things start reopening it may be a while before the shipping companies start rolling back the new policies. Meaning shipping delays could go on long after the country opens. The fact is right now we can’t afford to resend every package that’s late. If we did it would be better for us just to close down. So far, the couple we’ve resent have started moving again a day or two after we resent the order. So please, just be patient. I can’t state strongly enough that so far, every package has arrived! Keep in mind there’s also a very real possibility that shipping might get even worse in the near future. Be smart and order early.
A quick update on batch #48; it’s still coming. Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia through which almost everything leaving Indonesia passes through, was completely locked down last week. They’re back open again and batch #48 is moving. With the way things are right now I’m not even hazarding a guess on when it will be here. We still have no reason to believe that there will any massive kratom shortages but do expect some minor hiccups here and there. It should be here well before we sell out, and we still have plenty of strong strains lefts. So, no need to order crazy amounts just be sure to order early!
