Our restock is finally in! This may have been the single worst year we’ve had for shipping problems. Batch #63 should have been in the first or second week of October. It cleared US customs the day before Florida had the big hurricane at the end of September. Apparently, because the banks were shut down after the hurricane the forwarding company’s payment to the customs broker didn’t go through. So, the customs broker put the shipment on hold. It wouldn’t have been such a problem if they told anyone. We just spent all of November trying to find out what happened to the shipment, then making arrangements to get it released, which was agonizingly slow. We have it now though! This may have been a terrible year for shipping but on the other hand it’s been a great year for good quality kratom. This batch is looking like it’s another good one!
This batch was sent as a replacement for the half of #62 that was lost in transit. It was sent before we had gotten in what we were getting out of #62. So, our supplier just sent a broad selection of our standard strains. Looks like he knows what we order because we got a good balance of our normal strains. There are no Elephants, Super Green, or Santanos, but there are red and green Borneo. They both look outdoor dried and seem potent.
Other good news is we have a few packages that should be arriving extremely late from #62. Since most of what was missing was Green MD and Green Ranah. There’s a very good chance they’ll be more of those two coming for 62 this month.
As a reminder, Holiday shipping is upon us! We’re closely monitoring tracking numbers for problems. Even in the best of years, there can be delays. Our advice is to always expect a delay when you order. There is UPS shipping available at checkout as an option. Please, expect delays when ordering!
