The first half of #54 is now in stock. The rest will be coming in daily over the next week. So, check back if you don’t see the strain you’re looking for. Strains in today are white & green md, all moderns, red & white elephant, white jk, green ranah, super green. Initial impressions are that it’s a strong batch, and to start with smaller amounts. Customers that have been asking for ones like the #51 modern green might be interested in this one.
We will be closed for shipping on the 24th through 26th. The Post Office is closed on the 24th and 25th anyway. So, we’re taking an extra day off Saturday. Normal operations will resume on Monday the 28th
We’ll try to take as many orders as possible on the 23rd but get them in and paid as early as possible so we can get them out.
Shipping Delays:
There’s a lot of them. We’re very aware of them. We’re daily going through the tracking numbers for the month. As of right now everything from before the 7th and 8th has been delivered. After that it’s pretty murky. They are all arriving though. Nothings been lost for good yet or destroyed. Seeing a package sitting for 9-10 days at a time in the same place is common, and packages being mis-sent in the wrong direction too. We know it’s terrible and we have our eyes on it.
USPS Priority Mail is by far the worst service. On average it’s now taking 12-14 days. That’s average, it’s very possible yours will take much longer. Don’t bet on getting anything earlier than that. It really is that bad. If you’re wondering just why USPS Priority Mail is so bad It’s Amazon. Not lack of funding or politics. There’s a ton more to say about that, but I’m trying to keep it short.
We now have UPS Ground at checkout. It’s more expensive than the Priority Mail, but it’s still working with only slight delays. We’re working on negotiating better rates, but it’s what we have now. It’s normally 2-5 days. Which right now beats USPS Priority Mail by a lot. Pickup for it is only Mon-Fri. So, there’s no Saturday shipping with UPS. The plugin still not working 100% correctly with the website. We would have had it up well over a week ago if we didn’t keep running into problems. Shipping is so bad right through USPS that we figured it was worth putting up even if there are issues. If for some reason you’re not being shown the UPS option at checkout. Let us know, and we can put the correct amount in on your invoice.
We also have USPS Express Mail at checkout for a kilo and under. For the most part it’s working great. There’s been only one severely delayed package so far. The rest have been on time or a day behind at worst.
We’re not expecting shipping to start really improving until after the New Year. On the plus side #54 seems like a good batch, and #55 should be along in the very near future. My apologies for getting this out so late. There was a lot more that needed to be in here, but we do actually need to send this at some point.
