The majority of batch #51 is now in and listed for sale. There’s still more of it coming that should be in early next week. The maeng da’s, moderns, elephants, and white jongkong are completely in stock. There’s also a small amount of yellow ranah. Strains still coming are red and green jongkong, super green, premium jongkong, green ranah, and the rest of the yellow ranah.
This batch ended up taking a couple weeks longer then expected to get here. It was supposed to go out the day #50 got here. Because the kratom he had originally packed for batch #51 was all the same leaf as #50 we held off for a couple weeks until a new harvest came in. So, this one is completely different than #50. It was worth the couple extra weeks wait.
So far it all seems good and normal, and very different then the last batch. Of course, it always takes a while to really get to know a batch.
It’s been a while since we restocked, and we’ve been very low on stock for the last couple weeks. We’re assuming it’s going to be busy. Because tomorrow is Saturday, we might have to cut off orders to go out sometime overnight. As always we’re planning to take every single one we can.
There has been a slight price raise of 1$ on a 250 gram bag. We’ve needed to due one since before the coronavirus shutdown, but we held off after it hit with so many people out of work. We’ve had multiple price increases on the cost of kratom since we last updated our pricing. Not to mention the price of everything else. The price of a regular 250 gram is now $22.95 and the price of a regular 100 gram $10.40. Shipping has also gone up a very small amount to keep with current cost of postage; $7.98 for up to a kilo, $13.60 for over 1 to 2 kilos, and $18.85 for 2+. We’ve updated the price lists on the site to reflect the new pricing.
We are and have been keeping an eye on the various problems the USPS is facing. If things do start to get worse, we’ll be switching or offering multiple providers. Though it would be more expensive. We do have our eyes on it though.
We’re looking forward to getting the premium jongkong and green ranah next week. There’s a lot of signs pointing to they might be really good ones.
Thanks,
Treasure House Botanicals,
Ben & Lindsay
