The storm updates have been getting worse and worse. Hurricane Henri is on a direct path for us. It’s going to hit Sunday through Monday. The power company is predicting 5-10 days before they have power fully restored in Connecticut. We usually get ours back fairly early on, but with predictions of “wide spread devastation” it’s impossible to tell. We will definitely be closed Monday, and likely Tuesday and Wednesday. Internets another matter. When there’s widespread cable outages the 4G network quickly becomes to congested to be useful for anything. So, if we don’t answer your email, or mark your venmo, zelle order paid it’s because we can’t not because we’re ignoring you. We expect to be back up the second we can. Please don’t order if you can’t afford to wait. There is a possibility it could get bad.
In the meantime, the AKA was successful in forcing the FDA to reopen the comment period for the proposed international kratom ban. If you haven’t already commented, you can comment here: https://www.protectkratom.org/whocomments on the AKA site. Every comment matters! Even just taking the time to write “Don’t ban kratom” is helps! There’s plenty of info out there about the situation on the AKA site and elsewhere. Please make sure to comment. Keep kratom legal!
