The new “From the Vault” is now listed for sale. Where we sell off all the older stock we kept for ourselves out of previous batches. All of it has been in sealed bags since we got it, and stored in a cool dark place. It’s been a year since we ran one. So, this one is big. It includes strains from batches #41 – #48. There’s even a couple of bags from batches #33, #37, #38, and #39. We also released the rest of batch #49 we had kept aside. So, there’s some more stock from the #49 strains listed too.
We’re running this one a little differently then we have in the past. Since we have so much more, we’ve broken it up into separate listings; one for 41 and 42, one for 44, 45, & 46, one for 47 & 48, and a final one for the oddballs out of the earlier batches.
The big thing we’re doing differently is that instead of selling it in multiples of 250 grams and repacking it into the appropriate size bag we’re leaving it in the bag it was stored in. Previous experience is that’s it’s a logistical nightmare breaking down a huge amount of 500 grams bags and trying to make sure everything goes into the right bag. There was at least one instance of a customer getting the wrong kratom in the right bag the last time we ran it. With a much larger amount this time we’re not even going to attempt it. That means there’s a lot more 500 grams bags because that’s what we usually put it in for long term storage. It also no means no splits and no samples. There is a good amount of 250’s though and even some 100 gram bags.
All the “From the Vault” stuff is eligible for the 5% and 10% 500 gram and kilo discount codes. They’ll be added in at checkout and combine with purchases from current stock. That means the “From the Vault” current prices are slightly misleading. The regular price 500 bags are listed at $43.90, but will be $41.80 after the coupon code is added at checkout.
The other thing is this time we’re not giving advice on what’s best to customers that ask in order to keep things fair. The logic is that what happens is the first few people that ask what’s the best walk away with the very best of what’s listed. We are figuring that if a strain made a deep enough impression on you to be able to actually remember a certain strain name out of a particular batch then you deserve to be the one to get it. If you cannot remember exactly what, but have an idea of when, you can always check your order history on your account page. There is an icon for it in the upper right corner.
So, it’s up. Batch #50 is coming along well, and we’ll most likely have it sooner then later. As long as everything keeps going well. There’s a lot of good strains to choose from listed.
